Maoming Central Hospital

Maoming Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital was established in 1976. On June 18, 2022, the Maoming Municipal Government cooperated with Guangzhou University of Traditional Chinese Medicine to jointly build the hospital, which was renamed as Guangzhou University of Traditional Chinese Medicine Maoming Hospital (Maoming Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital). As of November 2024, the hospital covers an area of 11073.71 square meters, with a building area of 87091.36 square meters, a business room area of 87000 square meters, and 800 beds. The hospital has one national key specialty of traditional Chinese medicine, two national advantageous specialty construction units of traditional Chinese medicine, three key specialties of traditional Chinese medicine in Guangdong Province during the 11th Five Year Plan period, two key specialties of traditional Chinese medicine in Guangdong Province during the 12th Five Year Plan period, three key specialties of traditional Chinese medicine in Guangdong Province during the 13th Five Year Plan period, five key specialties of clinical practice in the city, and three key specialties of traditional Chinese medicine in the city.
